Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive hands-on healing system that uses the energy that is all around us to help trigger a healing response without using pressure, manipulation or massage.

The session is given with the person lying on a couch fully clothed. The practitioner’s hands are then placed in a sequence of positions over the body in a non-intrusive way.

Reiki flows to the areas of need, inducing relaxation and allowing the body’s natural healing ability to flow. It helps to balance and harmonise all aspects of the person – mind, body and emotions.

People find that they feel very calm and relaxed during and after a reiki treatment; some fall asleep and wake up feeling they have had a good, full night’s sleep.

Reiki may be used to help you in many different ways; physical or emotional. The body uses reiki to help overcome conflicts within the self, or to help with restless sleep or stress and tension, and thereby alleviating aches and pains.
